We’ve seen a little dip in our averages this week—those back-to-school sniffles are making their rounds! 🤧 We want to remind families that health and wellbeing come first. When students feel their best, they’re able to make the most of every school day. 💪🍎
Let’s keep working together to build strong attendance habits all year long! #everydaycounts

🥳 Big news, KSD families!
Starting today, Sept. 2, ALL Kellogg School District schools—Canyon Elementary, Pinehurst Elementary, Kellogg Middle School, and Kellogg High School—are covered under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
That means:
✅ Every student eats FREE breakfast & lunch—no applications, no fees, no barriers.
❌ Extras like second servings, bottled drinks, snacks, or ice cream still cost extra.
A huge shout-out to Food Services Director Leah Figueroa for leading the way on this effort to make sure every KSD student has the fuel they need to succeed!

Share Your Experience
Are you a parent of a student who receives special education services? The Idaho Department of Education wants your feedback! The Parent Involvement Survey is your opportunity to share how well your student’s school involves you in their education. If you receive the survey by email or mail, please take a few minutes to complete it.
Keep an eye on your inbox: surveys will be sent during the first week of June from noreply@experience.idaho.gov. Your input will help improve parent involvement across Idaho. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!
