Our team spent valuable time learning and growing together as we welcomed Cathy Collier from the Bureau of Education and Research. Staff from Title I, Special Education, and Kindergarten classrooms came together to strengthen their skills in delivering highly targeted reading interventions for our youngest learners in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Investing in our educators means investing in student success and we’re excited to see these strategies in action as we continue supporting every child on their path to becoming a confident reader. 📚

Our district-wide attendance numbers dipped a bit this week as several illnesses made their way through some of our schools. We’re wishing a quick recovery to the students, staff, and families who are under the weather — rest up and take care of yourselves. As we head toward the end of third quarter and spring break just a few weeks away, we look forward to welcoming everyone back healthy and ready to finish the quarter strong!

Remember! Clocks spring forward on Sunday, March 8th!

Another strong week of attendance across all of our schools! 👏
Thank you to our students, families, and staff for keeping the momentum going as we head into March. With the end of 3rd quarter right around the corner and spring break just four weeks away, every day in class continues to make a difference.
Let’s finish this quarter strong and keep showing up for learning! 💜💛 #everydaycounts

Every day in school matters. When students are present consistently, they build stronger learning habits, stay connected to their teachers and peers, and are better set up for academic success.
We know mornings can be busy and schedules can be full, but showing up—even on the hard days—adds up in powerful ways. Thank you to our students, families, and staff for continuing to make attendance a priority and helping our students stay on track. Let’s keep the momentum going! 📚#everydaycounts

🎉 Short week, strong attendance! 🎉
With no school on Monday for MLK Day, our students still showed up in a big way and rocked their attendance this week. Way to stay engaged, stay consistent, and make every day count—even on a shortened schedule. We’re proud of you! 👏📚 #everydaycounts

Cold and flu season is here, and staying healthy helps students be present, engaged, and ready to learn. A few simple habits can make a big difference:
🧼 Wash hands often
🚰 Don’t share water bottles
😴 Get a good night’s sleep
🥗 Eat well and stay hydrated
When students take care of themselves, they’re better able to make every day count. Thank you to our families and staff for helping keep our schools healthy and our students learning!
